On their third anniversary Amanda and Jamie were married in the church where they met surrounded by their friends and family in Hamilton, Ontario.
Jamie and Amanda met when she started working and attending Mount Hamilton Baptist Church. Shortly after Jamie invited Amanda to a local festival where the two spent hours talking. At the end of the day, they both knew they had found someone special.
Amanda’s favourite wedding moment was being able to see Jamie through the closed doors at the church right before her walk down the aisle. “Time sort of stood still as we smiled at each other,” says Amanda. “We were able to have a first look which helped calm any nerves but also just confirmed how happy and excited I was to be marrying him.”
The boutonnieres and corsages were the couple’s favourite wedding details. “They were definitely a labour of love but worth every minute spent on making them ourselves,” says Amanda.
